I have lived in Yonkers over 20 years now and I can tell you that the cost of living here is ridiculous. The school system is awful. We have had scandals here with our Board of Education for a long time. The price for renting a one bedroom is about $1,100 per month. The whole area is on the decline even with the so called "Urban Revitalizations." If you can make it where you are...don't move here.[read more...] |
