Easy to know your neighbors - 6/28/2007
Madeira is typically Midwestern: slightly conservative - politically, fiscally, and socially. It is safe to walk all areas of town and frequently, neighbors wave and still say "Hello." We have an excellent school system and a broad variety of housing types, everything from apartments to McMansions, but most are moderate, single-family homes. We even have a walkable downtown that can fulfill most shopping needs. Several times a year, the downtown is the site of well-attended community street fairs. We're surrounded by urban sprawl, but Madiera itself is nicely situated for living.[read more...] |
