Munroe Falls is a suburb of the Akron metropolitan area. There are four distinct seasons in Munroe Falls, OH. Summers and Fall are usually quite pleasant. However, you need to keep your sweaters and sweats accessible year round. Winters are long, cold, overcast, and can be quite snowy. This part of Northeast Ohio is in the secondary snowbelt. The overcast conditions are due to the lake effect precipitation. Once Lake Erie freezes over, the snow machine does slow down. Temperatures are usually pleasant in the summer. We only used air conditioning for a few weeks this year (2011). One really appreciates spring and summer after winter. The fall colors are usually good.
