My Hometown - 6/18/2009
I don't live in Bixby anymore, but I did for 14 out of 17 years. It's a great town, but it lacks things to do. However, it's good for raising kids and has, or at least had, a nice country feel. The educational system is excellent and the school actually has its own pool.[read more...] |

My Hometown - 6/18/2009
Well, as you can see from the title, I'm not a Bixby Spartan anymore. However, I lived in Bixby for about 14 out of 17 years. It's a nice little town, if lacking in things to do. Bixby - 3/25/2008
My family moved to Bixby eight years ago and loved it. I am sad to see Bixby becoming an extension of Tulsa and not its own town anymore. The people are kind and giving. We love it here, but plan to move out further into the country because that is what attracted us to Bixby in the first place.[read more...] |

GREAT place to live! - 10/4/2006
Small town but very close to the city (Tulsa). Bixby is BOOMING! I moved here 7 years ago when the population was less than 10k. Now it has almost doubled. Many new streets, brand new schools, new commercial developement including a big new Wal-Mart about to open. I have spoken with several people moving in to our town from the West (California,Arizona, etc.) and all have stated that this is a great town to raise a family and enjoy life.My family and I are very happy here and will be building our second home soon.[read more...] |
