Purcell,Oklahoma("QUARTER HORSE CAPITOL OF THE WORLD") is a great city nestled on the red hill bluffs overlooking the South Canadian River in central Oklahoma.Purcell has grown significantly in the past few years,and has brought in many buisnesses and new jobs.Many of the demographies you find are misleading about Purcell and its size.Purcell is more of a city supplying many smaller towns with its services and needs.I would predict myself Purcell,Oklahoma's population in the city limits alone is close to 10,000 people,and close to 20,000 with in its zip code(73080).In 2006 Purcell Recieved a new 155,000sqft. Walmart Supercenter and many other retail stores and restraunts.in my closing statements I would also like to add Purcell's City Lake andd 18 hole golf course which is located on the southwest side is a major attraction to tourist and golfers.I thank you for your time and try to visit Purcell,Oklahoma(30 miles south of OKC).[read more...]
