Housing in Yukon - 1/9/2008

The housing market in Yukon is doing very well.It seems that people are moving from Oklahoma City to the surrounding cities like Yukon to get away from the "Big City" way of life.Things move at a little slower pace here in Yukon, but we have access to Oklahoma City in about a 15 minute drive.[read more...]

Good schools, close to Oklahoma City, friendly. Weather can be pretty extreme -- summer and winter can have some very unpleasant days, but overall the bad days are few and the rest of the time it's pleasant.[read more...]

Very nice place to live! - 8/14/2006

I lived in Yukon for nearly four years. Amazingly has a small town feel, yet only minutes from downtown Oklahoma City. Yukon is sort of a secret suburb of OKC. Very reasonable real estate, low property taxes, low utilities, some excellent schools, people generally wonderful and accepting. Only real drawback is the heat and humidity of summer.
