An amazing town - 6/17/2009
I enjoyed living in the city of Clackamas. It had a very low crime rate,next door to portland,housing was not very expensive and neighbors were friendly. I did find some difficulty being a minority with racial profiling but other than that it was amazing and hopefully one day I will be able to retire there.[read more...] |

Clackamas is a rapidly growing area that will soon catch up with other areas in and around Portland as far as housing costs. Many older and commercial areas are undergoing a "trash-to-class" transformation. Property taxes are usually lower in Clackamas county than in Multnomah county just to the north.[read more...] |
