Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania is in a rural area with small towns and townships. Often in rural areas the level of health care is not always the best and there are not many health care choices. The Geisinger Health System is a comprehensive network of medical centers and community practices that service north central Pennsylvania. The main medical center is in Danville, which is about 15 minutes southwest of Bloomsburg.
