Barrington, RI, is a nice coastal town. It is very scenic, close to much culture, close to several exciting cities (Providence, Boston, NYC), close to great winter weekend getaways (Maine, NH, VT), and has great school systems. As someone who is not a native New Englander, it's hard to find much cultural/geographic diversity in this town.[read more...] |

An overated town, it's not a city but a small town. With an extreemely high housing cost and little to show for it. There is very little to do there and you must drive to go anywhere or do anything, your money would go further in most other cities or towns and what you would save in housing cost would probably pay for most of a four year tuition at the University of Rhode Island.[read more...] |
