East Providence is close enough to Providence that you're able to reap the benefits of arts and culture , but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. East Providence is broken up into three divisions: Riverside, Rumford, and East Providence. Rumford is more expensive housing wise, Riverside is median in housing prices, and East Providence is the least expensive.
