Ladson is located in Charleston County and Dorchester County. If you have kids you must live in the Dorchester 2 school district. We moved from Charleston County to Ladson, so that our kids could attend Oakbrook Elementary School. It is a great school. Just make sure that you choose to live in one of the neighborhoods in Ladson that are in Dorchester County. Some new neighborhoods around Oakbrook Elementary are Heatherwoods, Kings Grant, Eagle Run and Eagle Run Reserve. The closest to the schools is Eagle Run. Overall, our part of Ladson is in a great location. We are just a few minutes from Summerville or N. Charleston and live in a quiet, and wooded neighborhood. You can't beat it.[read more...]
