Not a place to start life or to make home. - 5/25/2006
Orangeburg is a struggling small town. I have been here for the past 4 years BUT, only because of me attending college. I see the people that are here are settled; meaning they either went to one of the colleges and got stuck here,or they have lived here since birth and they satisfied. With little to no jobs, no opportunity for advancement,and the mind set that industrial plants are the only places where humans are suppose to work.My advice;if you are thinking about moving here, then keep on moving up the road. This is not the place to be unless, you would like to experience the Largest Mall in South Carolina. No! but, all jokes aside don't do it,it's a trap!!!!![read more...] |
