Atoka is a small town directly east of Hwy. 51 and on the other side is Mun ford. Both cities have been there for quite some time and are more than 100 years old. There is a new High School for both cities and although small, Atoka has the typical set of corporate stores/ Mc Donalds, KFC. Walgreens as well as a new multi-cinema. Good access to banks, churches, and a new shopping plaza with a large supermarket and many smaller stores.
Recommend the BBQ restaurants there. Post Office BBQ is quaint, off the beaten path, and VERY TASTY !!
