Colonial Heights is an area of Sullivan County between Kingsport & Gray, TN. The City of Kingsport has been trying to annex as much of Colonial Heights as it can. Most original residents of Colonial Heights resent & wish to resist this annexation, since most residents originally moved to Colonial Heights to get out of the city limits. This issue is being fueled by such things as Higher City Tax Revenue & Sewer access/tap-on.
