Great Buyers Town - 11/7/2011
I have lived in Lawrenceburg for 1 year now and would say that the cost of living is relatively low. Lots of stores to shop at, including Krogers for groceries and Wal-Mart. Amish live close to town and you can get great prices on produce and furniture. [read more...] |

I have found Lawrenceburg to be a great little town! The people are warm and friendly, and more then willing to help anyone out. There is a lot of history connected with this town, and if you like antiques you will be in heaven.

There is a definite lack of diversity in this town. Population is more than 90% caucasian. There is one Catholic church, and a myriad of protestant churches from which to choose. If you are looking for a place to retire, Lawrenceburg could be the ticket. However, if you have any intention of working, pass on this economically stagnant little town. Many residents are forced to commute long distances simply to find work.[read more...] |
