Sleepy Texas Fishing/ Village Undiscovered By Many - 4/25/2020
Thee Great Escape Hatch. Does the idea of a sleepy fishing village on the coast where there isn't a mash of tourists sound appealing? Did you know this area has the largest concentration of multiple bird species in America, and is, hence, a Birder's Paradise? Did you know it is the Texas Shrimp capital? And...where there is shrimp, there are the fish who feed on them. Big fish. The entire area is a saltwater fisherman's Dream. You want to fish? Rent a boat, go looking for them. Or hire a guide to take you out into deep water. Or bring your boat and launch at the public ramp. Or fish off the many lighted piers. This is RV Snow bird territory. You can find plots of land that have power, water, even sewage hookups. Buy it. Cheap taxes, low utilities. From 10K-40K. Some areas have strict HOA rules. Other areas dont.
