Roanoke, Tx is a small one stop light town, the people are friendly. Best grocery store: Tom Thumb. Best Restaurants: Waffle House, Babe's. Traffic not bad in town, but 170/114 very heavy traffic during peak times. I moved from Detroit, Michigan. 9 mos. ago. The best thing to do to live in Metro Dallas, Fort Worth {DFW}, is to live 5 to 10 minutes from your job, the Highways in DFW have not kept pace with the rapid growth. and peak times is grid lock. Housing: affordable overall for the area. Over all Texas is not part of the Union, it is another Country, great place to live.[read more...] |
