Lehi - 2/5/2009

I really like living here in Lehi, Utah. It is still has a farm feel to it and I am far enough away from everyone to enjoy seeing them once in a while. lol They have the rodeo grounds here and a historic town to. The lehi roller mills (flour mill) is where some of Footloose was filmed. fun little fact. I am LDS and enjoy having neighbors who share my beliefs. I also have neighbors who are not LDS and they are awesome people as well. We all get along great together in my neighborhood![read more...]

Lehi a Nice Town - 6/4/2008

I have lived in Lehi for about 3 years and have been very happy about the town. It is growing like a weed, but it still a pretty small town. It is a great town for families and if you have little kids they will be surrounded by probably more kids in the neigborhood than you can handle. It is very safe. I have a bad habit of leaving my garage open at nights, but I have never had any problems with theft. It is a nice location because you are halfway between Provo and Salt Lake. However, your are going to have to commute a ways to your job since there is little employment in Lehi or American Fork. The schools are good too. I specifically chose Lehi to be in the Alpine District which is far superior to the Jordan District in Salt Lake County. Smaller classes, no year round school, etc. The only other drawback would be if you are not Mormon you may feel a bit like an outsider, but that largely depends on your attitude, as I know many non-Mormons who enjoy the area quite a bit.[read more...]

Growing Town - 9/11/2007

Lehi has maintained a small town feel long after it has grown past being small. It is now adjusting to the growth of the last few years (from 10,000 - 50,000 people in 10 years). There are growing pains, but it is still a very nice place to live and getting better as more retail and commercial businesses locate here.[read more...]
