Brandon on the upswing - 12/10/2011
Previous comments about Brandon are no longer valid. Economic development downtown is really happening. Four new businesses have opened in the last 6 months, and it is exciting to see this boom in this great little town. After leaving the congested, dirty area of NE Ohio, the clean air and water of Brandon are a joy. The people are helpful and friendly, and I absolutely recommend Brandon as a place to relocate.[read more...] |

Best Place to Live?? - 2/14/2011
Brandon Vermont is NOT a desirable place to live.
The storefronts are empty downtown and any new business wanting to
start up here is driven away. It is run by a certain few wealthy
that have moved here from other states. They do not want growth
because they dont care about people needing jobs. They are driving
people away. Taxes continue to rise as the town continues to die.
I currently live here and can't wait to leave. I am amazed at the
power that certain people have over our elected town officials. HUGE
