Interesting town - 11/1/2011
We are renting a house in the boondocks here in Stanardsville, and consider it an unusual cultural experience. The people are very friendly and the town is quaint. There is the Greene county pharmacy that sells everything from fresh eggs, pearl necklaces, drugs, and candy. We are at the foothills of the mountains, so the view is nice. Overall, seems like a nice place to settle. There are jobs down in Charlottesville and at the Fontaine Center on U.S. 29, but traveling down there is difficult because of traffic on U.S. 29.
