Whidbey Island - 5/22/2007
Freeland is on the south end of Whidbey Island, in Puget Sound just morth of Seattle. We retired here a couple of years ago after close to 30 years in Atlanta, GA. Whidbey is a beautiful place with a relaxed pace. It's an island, but large enough to have the shopping, services, dining, entertainment choices and so on that we had become used to living in a city. What it does not have is traffic. I would much rather wait in a ferry line than a freeway parking lot![read more...] |
