Convenient location, Growth clogging entire county - 6/6/2007
Great access to both I-5 and I-205. Traffic congestion has turned into a nightmare for anyone commuting to Portland. Vancouver passed up opportunity some years back to fund light rail, which would hook up with Oregon's system...growth has strapped County road maintenance/congestion..commutes even across town take as long as going to Portland. Clark Co/city playing catch up on bike lanes. Bus system (C-Tran) reasonably priced, reasonable access...The entire city & county are "stop light" oriented. Seems to be the one solution the city/county approach in the same manner.[read more...] |

Unless Gray is your favorite cloud color - 6/6/2007
Since I've lived here most of my life I thought I was comfortable with the climate..quite moderate actually, lots of rain, but that doesn't stop many activities or events...great climate for gardening,outdoor sports, no giant influx of bugs in the summer....BUT the cloud cover has finally started to get to me...I don't wish for Sun so much as I wish for no Gray sky.[read more...] |
