SperlingViews - Platteville, Wisconsin

This town is blessed to have such a strong community of believers. There are many denominations to choose from. While not all of them are centered around the gospel, there are about 5 that are. It is discouraging to hear about all of the arguing and tension between some churches. However Platteville is not like that at all. The pastors of those 5 churches I mentioned earlier meet on a weekly basis and encourage and challenge each other. I look forward to community holiday gatherings at Christmas and Easter times where our churches hold a combined service. On that same note, there is a strong Christian presence at the University as well. Intervarsity Christian Fellowship has been blessed with some great leadership lately, and as the number of students in this group increases so does there impact on the students around them. So heres the thing.. I live in Platteville and I lived here my WHOLE life and I love it, but the thing that is not good is that when me and my friends want to go somewheres we can't because there's no wheres to go..
