Best of both worlds - 3/15/2019
A friend of mine grew up here. Iowa is just across the border. You could live in the country, but large cities are within reach, like Omaha, Lincoln, Des Moines. Iowa has a lot of colleges, and is not an expensive place to live. I thought it was the best of both worlds when I visited for a month in the summer of 1973.
