Review of Phoenix, Arizona

DON'T MOVE HERE!
Star Rating - 11/7/2017
I agree with all the negative things that people say about Phoenix so I won't repeat it here. Recently, flippers have overtaken the valley and caused an artificial rise in real estate prices. As soon as these guys are finished, the market may crash again here. As a renter, everybody's rent went up to $1000 a month because of the flippers. Mine went up from $800 to $1000. in two months. I asked my landlord why the steep increase, he said, "Because I can!" I am packing and leaving Arizona and my slumlord, ASAP! You think that if the market crashed here, he would reduce my rent? No, I don't think so! I've been wanting to leave AZ for some years now, but AZ seems to suck the little guy in and won't let him go! I've heard this from a number of people. In most people's cases, you just don't make enough of money here to save and get out of here! If I have to take the Bus, I will escape from Phoenix!!

I hope you'll update us all or at least me on this comment because I would like know, for curiosity sake, how things have gotten better or worse since, and I'm sorry to hear that tragedies have struck though I know it hits all of us different ways. Me? I'm 21, 1 year into my stay in the Valley from last year, and I haven't minded it super badly but I do know that if sh&$ really took a bad turn and hit the fan it would practically be the end of me. I was taken in by a housing program for having a disability and being homeless up to 3 years or more in the state. I feel a lot of your struggle with Phoenix as a whole because, believe me, there are more people than I can count who love being douches for a living. You, for one, do not appear to be like that, and 2) I don't blame you for wanting to leave, as a southern AZ native, because I've almost died a few times myself while I was homeless and was about to call it complete quits with the state. Now, whether you're stuck here because of laws of nature or your own doing, I hope you'll make the most of it and find yourself working towards experiences you'll cherish. Sure, the women here can suck badly, but that's not saying they're a'll bad, just like waiting for the right one to come along isn't all bad. Godspeed to you in whatever you choose and really wish the best for you man.
