The funny thing is that every single city I research on this site has nothing but bad reviews about crime, nothing to do, racism, and no jobs. If you are a regular family that loves country then Nashville is for you. People like me though who are single and love all kinds of entertainment other than country, hate it. I travel all over the US now and there are police everywhere ready to give you a ticket, way more than another other city. I believe now the police presence is to keep the criminals from Memphis and Atlanta away, but I never had a ticket until I went to Nashville where they suspect everyone is a criminal. I have been to Lansing and it is worse than Nashville for sure. Not sure what your budget is, if you are regular middle class then look at Smyrna and La Vergne, but La Vergne seems to be getting bad as the houses are dirt cheap and taken over by poor people. I am trying to leave this city.
