The sun disappears in November and doesn't return until May. Spring occurs sometime in June. The cloud cover generated by the lakes is so low and oppressively gray it effects the demeanor and attitude. Locals are generally irritable for this period. SE Michigan has fewer Sunny days than Seattle Wa. The Summers are very nice but unfortunately are shorter than other places. Spring is June 6th then its straight to Summer
