Please stay away from this city, there is no progress here it is all lies. The city is in a constant state of depression, the locals are racist against whites and blacks, and the minimum wage is $7.25 an hour. If you want to move to a place and be unhappy, then move right in. If you are Looking for something more, keep driving.

I don't know what El Paso you are talking about. I've been here about 4 years and my experience is totally opposite than the one you had. My new neighbors helped me and my family move in, they brought us food for the first week we were in our house so we could get out house in order. Sorry for what you went through.

this is true . some people are racist against you if your white . you can be a sweet person and they will act racist against you . that's how it is with El Paso. the white people that are not poor and that are well off probly don't see it but if your poor then you will experience that . people in El Paso also try to take advantage of you or assume you have money just because your white. it's a really unhappy place .

I been here just over 9 years now and I agree that it's not a happy or good place to live . I had alot of problems here . problems that were not my fault at all . el Paso has alot of bad people and energy .
