I'm already familiar with some of these, except number 8 really made me laugh. I've been living in San Antonio since I was 10, and I know for a fact that racism in this city is DEFINITELY NOT held towards hispanics. How is a city that is about 90 something percent hispanic going to be racist against its own people? Jobs here practically cater towards hispanics while ignoring other ethnicities. Blacks, asains, and even whites are more of the minority in this city. There's absolutely no diversity, and most native born San Antonians have never left the comfort of their own backyards, totally oblivious to the world outside of SA. I agree with Michael.

I'm not sure why San Antonio being racist towards hispanics is even on this list. How can that even be possible when Hispanic/Latino is the majority population??? San Antonio is at the top of the list for the worst city. Overpopulated, and it seems that hispanic/latino apparently don't care if they have the money to raise a child they will still have them, which is irresponsible and ridiculous. I don't trust anyones views or outlook on life if they were raised in a predominant hispanic/latino city because they are not well rounded. The city has the most horrible public transportation I've ever seen. I don't understand how some people get so much and they don't even have social security numbers... I could go on and on but the bottom line is, the city is horrible and fat as hell. Just sloppy ass folks all over the place.

I agree with all the above. Also they don't have a Train System for a City that claims they're on the move they have no rail, for those who don't use public transportation are against it. I've lived in other cities and people will use it, it's faster n better.

According to the City and County data book (the most recent US CENSUS 2007) 61.2% of the population in San Antonio are Hispanic... Yes a majority. I blame most of the issues you guys are talking about on Education and Poverty level. I've read a study on how the poor have issues getting out of poverty. Look at Detroit and the crime vs. poverty/education/teenage pregnancy rates. I just read a article about how 1 in 4 births are from a teen mother in some areas of Detroit. This is not race that is the cause... it is Poverty/education level. It would be stupid of me to say Hispanics from San Antonio don't experience racism, but after reading some of these post I can most definitely say they suffer from Classism

Lot's of exaggeration here. Some of the points are correct though. I have lived here for over 30 years and it used to be a great place to live. Overpopulation and too many people moving here from other states (Califorina much!) have rotted out the city. When I first moved here the people were the friendly and welcoming, but much has changed. There used to be a music scene here but now it's just a washed up mess of latino and country music. But as far as jobs go, this city is booming along with many other cities in Texas, and there are no shortages of jobs. But, overpopulation is the biggest killer, there are just way too many people and it will have dire consequences in the end. P.S. Yes unfortunately there are way too many bible thumpers down here, it's a bit disturbing knowing some people blindly follow fairy tales.

You wouldn't expect it to hit Chicago right after hitting the southern border right? 18) the hyatt downtown was built fraudulently and hasn't been paid for ...sshhhhh, we got it on the chep. stop hating 19) Unusually large number of night club shootings 20) Unusually large number of apartment and house fires ...compared to? 21) One performing arts theatre with a very limited number of performances ...blue star rocks! 24) 2010's worst city for accurate public assistance distribution ..."accurate public assistance distribution"..hmmm..starting to get the picture now.

You are correct on a lot. I moved back here from Orlando last summer and wish I had stayed. It’s gotten too big, people are rude, and crazy liberal.

100% correct and then some...except for Hispanics being discriminated against, they discriminate against every other race, including their own, luje in Mexico. They are very one dimensional. A lot of anchor babies = dumbed down education. Illegals get away with any and everything..always driving drunk / drugged up and drving the wrong way on the freeway, head on crashes every day. They refuse to learn or speak English or assimilate. Whats even worse is how corrupt the city is...the courts are corrupt as hell. The only color that matters is green = $$. SA is a slumlord city!! The worst ever!! The roads are always blocked, lights aren't sync, people tailgate like crazies, they run red lights and stop signs like its nothing...like in Mexico. San Antonio has very, very little to offer, especially if your not Mexican with hordes of kids that tax payers pay for. Schools are ths worst in ths country...except for SAC. Classes ars taught in Tex Mex and books from Mexico. San Antonio has NOTHING to offer! Worst city ever!!

We lived in Texas our entire lives and 25 years in San Antonio/Mexico. Every single thing you said was 100% accurate. We had to move away from Texas which is a place we used to love. If anyone wants to see the truth about San Antonio, just read www.mysa.com each day and look on that website for "crimebase" which will show you all the crimes taking place each day. It is a scary, scary place. There was an article released 5/2009 and the FBI rated San Antonio as the highest crime in the nation. Worse than Detroit. Live it and believe it because it is true. We were car jacked 2 times, had our house broken into 3 times in Sonterra and had 2 cars stolen. That is a lot in a short lifetime. Scary, scary place.
