Perfect for 'the newly wed or the nearly dead'

I am from Vero Beach and lived there until I went to college. (I am shocked they actually have Vero Beach and Vero Beach South as if there is a distinction). If you have a family, are looking to retire, or just want a gorgeous home by the beach, Vero is the place for you. It is safe, clean, quiet, and centrally located to many big cities. You can't beat the weather (besides an occassional hurricane). There is no club scene, everything closes early, not a lot of events...its just not a place for single young people looking for a good time. However, there is immense opportunity for growth and business. the other commentor was right though, most people who live there want it to stay small and quiet. It's like a secret. The real estate is truly expensive. Its a beautiful, safe, clean, community-oriented city. Not great for twenty-ish, thirty-ish singles.
