Unless your from the east or a native to PA there isn't much here that one could appreciate. Poor school district, high cost of living, and an unfriendly atmosphere makes living in Southwest PA pretty miserable. The Ligonier Diamond and Main St merchants are all pleasant for the most part (their livelyhoods depends on their sales mind you). Poorly constructed roadways make travel unbearable. Housing is for the most part outdated and very expensive. I feel like people here are very much backwards from the rest of the country. It's pretty much how I feel about the state of PA as a whole, not just a Ligonier issue.
