My Wife and I relocated for Portland Oregon to Rocklin CA. We relocated in January of 2010. We like it here a lot. We decided to buy a house and we ending up buying a house in Wheatland CA. It’s a very small town 20 mins from Rocklin CA. It’s a very rural town about 5 restaurants 1 bank 1 grocery store. It’s an awesome small town feel. Everyone is extremely nice. You can pick up an amazing house deal newer homes built in 2003 and up for under 150,000 compared to Rocklin CA witch you would have to spend around 250,000!!! They are also in the process of building a by-pass highway to Rocklin witch will cut the drive time in half! Wheatland CA is a hidden Gem.
