Nice place to live but jobs are hard to come by.

Lancaster, CA is nice, however we have found it is extremely difficult to get a job in this city in this economy. I find myself having to work 65 miles away to make enough money. Plus with the cost of gas rising once again, the cost of a 130 mile round-trip commute every day is getting too costly.
