lol. my uncle has lived here since sine korean war ended and runs his own rest. downtown. Yes, it is a difficult city, but I think it will also improve if the people commit to it. There are alot of benefits to Stockton, being close to the Sierra Nevadas,SF,OAK,etc, it can grow fast. I dislike the housing movement here. People be wise, the developments are shady at best, despite the location (even though we're in the desert!!)
