Review of Charlottesville Virgi, Iowa

Yes, Virginia there is crime in Charlottesville
Star Rating - 9/25/2008
Many people move to this town of approx. 40,000 and believe there is no crime here. Nothing could be further from the truth. While violent crime is an irregular occurence, drug and gang activity is very high. There have been identified no less than six operating drug gangs here. We also have our very own FBI office despite the small size of the town. It is possible to live a relatively safe life in Charlottesville, but be aware that danger does indeed exist here. It has a way of popping up when you least expect it. If you're in downtown Charlottesville and visiting the famous open mall, exercise caution, especially late at night.
