Snowfall total for Cedar City not accurate
Star Rating - 3/6/2017
Hi -- Just FYI, the annual snowfall amount indicated by Sperling's Best Places for Cedar City is not accurate. Sperling states that this location receives 110" of snow per year, but according to NOAA (The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) it receives only 49" per year on average.

They really got that snowfall wrong in Cedar City. Is not anything close to 110 inches. It would be blizzard conditions all Winter to have that type of increase. According to US Climate Mapping it is only 49 inches. Hope they will fix this error.

THANK you for this. My wife & I plan on leaving a LIFETIME of San Diego living behind in 2 years to retire there. But being badly disabled in a wheelchair for rest of my life I am still unsure if snow might be too much at 49 inches? Only SEEN snow a couple of times in my 70 years:-) I swear I don't remember seeing so much snow in all of our times there!
