I've lived in Marysville for 14 years now. It's a growing community close to Dublin, OH (a Columbus suburb) so every amenity that you can think of is either here or close by. That being said, it's a quiet community, very conservative, very Christian oriented. People are very nice. The schools are highly rated. We've got lots of parks, a nice public pool and golf course. The housing is priced a bit above average and the utilities are very high - VERY high. There's a great summer series of concerts and events. Our main crime is drug related - we do have a high percentage of drug addiction comparatively but we've also got good task forces and ancillary services for rehabilitation. It gets REALLY cold in the winter. It's -6 today and the schools are closed. We always have a few weeks in the summer above 95F. There is very little racial diversity, although I've seen that changing a bit over the last five years. The headline in the paper the other day was about a man saving a dog from a frozen pond, so despite some crime issues, we maintain a Mayberry like feel. It's a good community to live in and I'm very happy that I ended up here.
