Actually, this is a terrible to live if you suffer from allergies! During the colder months the air is filled with pine, cedar and juniper pollen. In the spring and summer, pollen from the "usual suspects" is present; these include: tree,grass,ragweed and tumbleweed pollen. And, worst of all, in the fall the atmosphere is contaminated with pollen from the "diabolical duo" of sage and rabbit brush. If you are prone to allergies, you will eventually sucumb to sage and rabbit brush. It took five years for my allergies to develop and now I suffer every fall. Mark twain, who lived for a spell in Virginia City during the 1800's, called sagebrush the "cigarette butt" of God's creation and I couldn't agree more.
