Review of Sandy, Utah

My Husband and I lived in Sandy for about 2 years in early 2000. We loved the area, the people and the climate. The only instance we ever encountered of someone treating us differently was one of our neighbours.
My landlord who was a Mormon was with me at the time and I recall him being disgusted that the neighbour had spoken to me the way he had. Particularly, as he had never spoken to me before! Needless to say I don't think it is fair to view all Mormons in the same light.

Nobody ever tried to push or coax us into converting.

We now have a little boy and have been thinking about moving back to Utah, as we feel it would be a far better environment for him to grow up in "more family oriented".

We were not brought up in the Mormon faith and we do not intend on bringing our son up in the Mormon faith. Needless to say after reading some of the other comments on here about children not being able to play with non-mormon children, I am wondering if we would be doing him a dis-service moving back.

I truly hope that the previously posted comments are very rare occurencies. Couldn't bear to think of him being treated in this way..... He is only a child when all is said and done! Every child deserves the right to have a happy childhood regardless of their faith, or lack of faith!

Wondering now if we should re-think for our sons happiness.
