I was born and raised here in west palm. First off there is a lot of crime here. My home has been robbed several times. The weather is 50/50 in the wunter its great. Crisp cool days very little rain. Winter is the only good time to be in Florida. But it does come at a cost. The roads are packed with old people that can't drive. The summer on the other hand is horrible. Its hot and humid and it rains alot. The people here are rude and generally not too friendly. The public schools here suck but they are getting better. If you like the night life you will find lots to do here, but if your looking for a nice place to raise children this is not it. The roads and highways in this town seem to be in a constant state of construction that seems to have no end in sight. The homes are all over priced. We also have a problem with homeless people and drugs in our streets at night. I can't even stop to get gas without being hassled for spare change. I just want to go somewhere that is nice and has a sense of community.
