Military Community

Jacksonville North Carolina is a great area to live considering the proximity to the beach and the low cost of living. The area has experienced tremendous growth in the service industry since the early 1990's due to the military community based at Camp Lejeune, NC. There are two Wal Marts, a Wal Mart Neighborhood Markt, two Lowes, Home Depot and may other big box stores. There is not many opportunities outside of service employment jobs and the community could benefit from manufacturing or supply chain industry making a home in the area.
