Have you ever lived on an island?

Clearwater Beach is located on an island, so it's a barrier island, but still surrounded by beautiful blue water. And one of the best-kept secrets is that it is connected to Caladesi Island State Park, which was once separated by a pass that closed in about 13 years ago. Caladesi is a nature preserve, and being there makes you feel like you are on your very own semi-tropical island. Our islands have white sandy beaches that feel and look like powdered sugar and the water is crystal clear, hence Clearwater. But what brought me here were the dolphins, they are everywhere. The first one I saw was on my first day, it jumped out of the water and made a flip, I haven't seen one do that since. It was a wonderful greeting and an invitation; "Come live here for a while, enjoy the sun and the silence and be one with nature."
