This post is NOT about Cedar City, UT. It's about Pleasant Grove, UT, more than 200 miles north of Cedar City. We've lived here only about a year but can find little wrong with the city. Yes, it's not perfect and every city has its warts. It's very windy in the springtime but Cedar City is a wonderful place. If you like recreation and theater, Cedar City is your place.

iv lived in this town for 15 years and counting and soon ill be leaving this god forsaken town hopefully in 4 months and going to live in Alaska. there are some ok people here in cedar. but for the most part the people here are stuck up snobs. if you are not morman then you are treated lower then a dog. and the imployment rate here is somewhat low. and if you are single good luck meeting someone to date unless u go to collage. and the collage students have no respect for anyone that is not in there league. they drive by you and shout mean and nasty stuff with out even knowing a single little thing about you. but if u know some of the well respected familys here in cedar then you would be ok. but as for me iv had all I can take of this town and all the back stabbing. and these morman stuck ups. so those that are thinking about moving to cedar do yourself a favor and don't. there are much better places to live then cedar. yes the mountains and the town look beautiful. the people are not so much that. if u like winter sports or outdoor stuff. or shakespeare festivals. then you will prob get your rocks off here. and as for alc its only 3.2 abv. or 4.0 abv. in the stores. unless you got to the liquor store then you can get stuff that is 4.5 to 11.0. but its like that all over in mormanville Utah.
