Review of Kennewick, Washington

Boating
Star Rating - 2/11/2009
If you like boating, the Tri-Cities is the place for you. Summer temperatures can reach into the triple digits making a day on the river fabulous. The Columbia river can hit 72 degrees and the Snake river temperatures can reach 76 degrees in the late summer. You have 3 rivers to choose from for fishing and water sports; the Columbia, Yakima, and Snake rivers. In addition, there are several dams on the snake that make for some warm deep water. It's nice not having to worry about chewing up your prop.
