Review of Lake Ma,

Living in Lake Mary is great!

I moved here from PA 11 years ago. I've seen this place grow and for the better. Everything is conveniently located. We have every store and restaurant imaginable, shopping and entertainment. The schools are great and it's very safe to live here. Since the housing market has significantly dropped, you can steal a house. The winters are beautiful compared to up north, although it gets very hot and humid in the summer for several months.(5 months) We are 40 minutes from the beach and Disney. We also have beautiful springs and parks closeby. All in all, I'd recommend Lake Mary to anyone looking to move to FL and outside of Orlando.

Rebecca, How is it in regards to finding work? I plan on making a move to Lake Mary within the next year to year and a half and will need to find work. I will be moving with my g/f of 8 years (which she will be transferring jobs), but I will need to find one. Currently, I live in Ohio and am a Supervisor at a machine shop. I do not plan on pursuing a job along these lines once I move to Florida. I am 29 yrs old and although not wanting to take risks, I am ready to make a change and move forward with my life. I would just like to see if there is any oppurtunity in the area without any college degrees? If you have any information please inform me. Thank you very much for your time!! Regards, Tony
