Further West is Good

West Valley City has 3 pretty distinct areas/neighborhoods. They're separated by zip code. East of the 3200 W can be pretty rough. I would not live there. Between the 215 and 5600 W isn't so bad, just a typical safe working class neighborhood with good people. West of 5600 W is actually a really safe part of town where you see people go for jogs alone at night and neighbors leave their garages open in the day. It gets more expensive going further west, but the benefits are worth it, and really WVC isn't exactly "expensive" anywhere.
