I live in Mesquite, Nevada. I hear all these glorious reviews and need to set the record straight. Yes, Mesquite is clean n beautiful to Look at. the negatives need to be addressed. It is too hot for human beings at least 1/3 of the year. There is not enough to do and places to go. The widowers outnumber the widows or available men. The retirees and elderly outnumber the younger people. Too many smokers n damn cigar smokers that have NO consideration for others. People are basically not very friendly. Cost of living is 102.5% above national average. Is a view worth it? I am searching for a new place to live.

What about the wind? I am outdoors a lot and have heard that its windier than St. George. What do you think? Thanks!

I think you misinterpreted the cost of living information. The data on this site shows the national average as 100, and Mesquite is 102.5 on average, Compared to the rest of the country, Mesquite's cost of living is 2.5% higher than the U.S. average.

In our new world, many people are taking the advantage of others... That's our new society with the average of humanity being Arrogant, Rude and Mean... Mesquite has a lot of this... Just be careful... There's been a lot of condo, home and apt buys and Resales.. People trying to make a buck threw Real Estate, and this has driven the prices high...

Many people have no gifts, such as Abilities, so they do Real Estate, they will sell to anybody, or do anything for money...
