Moved here 15 years ago, have owned and run two businesses here. I have lived in other states all over the West. Evanston is an easy place to do business and I never had any problems with the city here or anyone else. In fact everyone has been great, helpful and easy to work with. There are a few families here that have been for generations but they do not "run the town". In fact, i've never lived anywhere where it is so easy to get involved. Run for city or county office if you'd like. It can be done and many have done it!

Joe, i'm sorry that you have had a bad experience here. I'm not sure what series of events led to you to this point but I can assure you that Evanston is among the best places in Wyoming to live. I've lived in Laramie, Casper, Denver CO and now Evanston. I love it here!
