Cerritos is a very nice community, on the LA County / Orange County border. It was developed in the late 1960's -early 1970's. It has gone through it's own renewal, with a world class library-performing arts center-civic center. It has a clever tax base with a shopping mall, and the world's largest auto mall supporting good educational and park systems. In the last ten years, the ethnic mix has become more Asian. I have found it to be a well maintained community, with a wonderful openess to diversity.
