Smalltown Living at its Best

I grew up in Salem just 20 minutes from Silverton and recently, as a Realtor, I have helped several clients relocate there. Silverton is a wonderful town full of character and charm. It is currently seeing a lot of growth, and most of the new homes going in are beautiful custom homes in well-planned neighborhoods. It is attracting many recent retirees and also many people relocating from California. That said, it also has some of the best schools in the area, so families are also being drawn in. There are a few rougher areas of town, but you'll love window shopping historic downtown, strolling along Silver Creek in the park, having the assurance of Silverton Hospital, and taking it a bit slower in one of Oregon's greatest small towns.
